OHL, one of Spain’s largest construction and concession firms, with almost 100 years of history and with international presence in 17 countries, has been named “2007 Company of the Year” by the Spain-U.S. Chamber of Commerce, due to its successful entry into the U.S. market through the acquisition of two local construction companies and the award of various important construction projects in the State of Florida. Furthermore, OHL Concesiones, S.A., the subsidiary specialized in concessions, entered the U.S. market in 2006 with the incorporation of OHL Infrastructure in Texas.

With sales up 30% during 2006, OHL International has increased and consolidated its geographical presence on four continents, thus attaining position 34 in the global ranking of International Contractors published by the prestigious magazine ENR.
