Description: This project involved remodeling an existing building to include an additional 51,647 square feet of space. A building was constructed to hold specialty and general services, as well as physicians' offices. The hospital had to continue its operations during the expansion so the construction was implemented in phases.
The new building contains three levels of underground parking, a conference hall, union offices, general staff changing rooms, room facilities rooms and a medical records office. A computer, the radiology department, external physicians' offices, gynecological and pediatric offices, a major outpatient surgery unit, laboratories, management/administrative offices and the facilities and utility rooms are also housed in this new facility.
